Course Objectives
|
This course is intended to provide the participants with the basics, rules and skills of playing the Piano. The course will take you step-by-step towards mastering the Piano, reading the music notations, identification of various ways of playing, time signature and note timings.

| Training Objectives |
1. Introduction to Piano keys without any previous musical background.
2. Introduction to proper way to sit and place fingers on the Piano keys.
3. Introduction to rules of rhythm, music notation, reading the musical letters.
4. Introduction to musical ladder, major, minor and cord playing.
5. Participants will acquire fingers change skills and the bases of musical harmony.
6. Participants will acquire the skills to match musical harmony to rhythm.

1. Piano Keys and the basics of applying the five fingers in a proper manner to the
Piano keys.
2. How the musical ladders and cords are played.
3. The proper manner in which the fingers are placed to play major and minor with a stable beat.
4. Musical staff signs and pitches.
5. Rhythm, rhymes and movement among minor and major keys.
6. Principles of rhythm and timing of pitches
a- Timing of musical pitches.
b- Various musical pitches
7. Time signature and timing of pitches.
8. Half tone, full tone, white keys, black keys.
9. Treble clef and musical ladder.
